1600’s Pirate Ship inspires $200 million super yacht design

Pirate Ship

Super yachts come in many different shapes and sizes, but the Caronte has been inspired and modelled on 17th Century pirate ships.

The Italian company, Lazzarini Design Studio created the fantastic design of this 200-foot vessel, which is fully equipped with a swimming pool, lounge area, gym, helipad and bar, accommodating up to 12 families within its impressive interior.

Just like an old pirate ship, the command cabin is situated on the upper structure of the yacht and is where the captain’s room and balcony are located. The company’s motto is “Think about the future, never forget the past.” which has definitely been encapsulated within this design.

The blueprints for The Caronte still remain, as Lazzarini Design Studio await constructing this impressive design until someone decides to purchase this one-of- a-kind yacht. Costing around $200 million to construct, the spectacular pirate- styled super yacht, will take around 2-3 years to complete. So, if you would like to cruise the high seas as a pirate, you should decide to do it sooner than later.
