Amelia discovered the yachting industry after securing her first job as a crew following university. Having always been an avid traveller with an appetite for adventure from a young age, yachting not only seemed a natural career path but came with it the opportunity to discover the Caribbean, USA, Middle East and Central America.
Following 6 years onboard superyachts ranging from 60m – 90m, Amelia made the decision to pursue a career at a London-based Yacht Designer and has since transitioned into Yacht Management, where she relocated to Monaco to manage a portfolio of yachts; being the key contact for clients, captains and crew.
Amelia’s passion to exceed client expectations and build strong relationships, combined with her extensive industry experience both onboard and onshore, make her the perfect point of call for guidance and advice for both destinations and the experience clients should expect.
Dedicated, diligent and a team player, Amelia will ensure the charter experience for the client goes smoothly from start to finish. Having already been involved in yachting for 12 years, the fast-paced nature of the industry continues to be the perfect challenge for Amelia.
As a boutique brokerage, I feel TJB provide more of a personal approach with clients to create the ultimate charter experience with every detail met from start to finish.
Working with our Clients to create unique, unforgettable, bespoke yacht charter experiences.
Selecting the right yacht to match the Client’s requirements which includes the Captain and crew, bespoke itinerary planning to include the Client’s selected destinations and experiences and whether it be an adventurous charter, family charter, wellness charter, corporate charter or a yacht charter with friends, ensuring every detail has been included.
Raja Ampat – it still feels very untouched with incredible marine life and coral. Being a keen diver, it is the perfect destination. The beauty of the islands are unlike any other.
Lurssen – they have built some of the world’s most iconic yachts.
I would buy or charter an explorer yacht as I would want to embark on a more adventurous journey venturing to remote locations including Antarctica, South Pacific, Alaska to name but a few. There would also need to be a huge range of water toys on board.
If the Client hasn’t chartered a yacht already, I would recommend chartering before buying. That way the Client can gauge what they like in terms of size, hull design, where they will cruise, interior and exterior layout of the yacht. It is also important to select the right sales broker who you trust, has a good understanding of the market and will guide you through what can be a long but rewarding process.
Not very unique but I did cycle in the London to Monaco bike ride for Blue Marine Foundation when it was first launched in 2016.
