I’m a 200 Ton licensed Captain with over a decade of hands-on maritime experience across the Caribbean and Atlantic. Originally from Key West, I’ve sailed extensively throughout the Bahamas, U.S. and British Virgin Islands, New England, Riveria Maya and the Caribbean Netherlands.
With 13 longitudinal Atlantic crossings and a career that’s taken me from deckhand to captain, my background spans luxury charters, tall ships, and civilian service for the U.S. Navy. This diverse experience allows me to offer informed, practical insight into all aspects of charter planning- from logistics and transit times to destination highlights and guest experience. Working as a charter broker has given me the same passion as driving the actual trip itself- different role, same magic.
My passions
When I’m not working in the office, I’m still a working captain! On weekends you’ll find me running sandbar and snorkel trips because staying connected to the water is half the fun of this business!

My favourite destination
For me, as a multi-year resident of both locations, it doesn’t get better than the British Virgin Islands and Bahamas. Although they’re both in the Caribbean, they’re deeply different destinations. The British Virgin Islands with its mountainous terrain means you can duck behind a leeward mountaintop in moments! It’s truly a point-and-go location, letting you create your itinerary fresh each day. Richard Branson’s Necker Island is truly one of a kind – the unique architecture and, more importantly, the incredible endangered animals create memories for a lifetime.
The Bahamas offers a completely different vibe – a true island experience where you’re visiting fishing villages with just a handful of residents or uninhabited islands populated only by giant iguanas! Snorkeling Pablo Escobar’s sunken plane, swimming with wild nurse sharks right off a luxury resort dock… The Bahamas has this raw, one-with-nature energy that creates an unplugged lifestyle you can’t match anywhere else.
