How I got here

Nautical alphabet h

After earning my degree in Psychology from Manchester University, my passion for understanding people and behavior naturally guided me into the field of Human Resources. Over the past 20 years, I have developed and refined my HR and leadership expertise across diverse industries, including financial services, engineering, technology, manufacturing, and retail. My roles at Dyson and Farrow & Ball, in particular, have been instrumental in shaping my versatility, creativity, and commitment to continuous improvement. These experiences have fuelled my drive to create positive, impactful workplace cultures.

My passions

Nautical alphabet m

My greatest joy comes from spending quality time with my husband, our three children, and our cocker spaniel. I cherish holidays and love being outdoors, whether it’s walking, exploring new restaurants, attending live shows, or simply listening to music. Walking my dog, especially during early summer mornings when the world is still waking, brings me a sense of peace and calm.

In the winter months, nothing beats a cozy Sunday roast by an open fire. While I’ve attempted to embrace skiing, I’ve found more pleasure in watching my children enjoy the sport, while I savor the après-ski atmosphere.

I’m an avid fan of competitive sports, from the Olympics to rugby, and I’ve enjoyed the experience of coaching as an enthusiastic parent. I believe that participation, determination, and teamwork are essential elements for both personal growth and motivation.

WHY TJB SUPER YACHTS?

I was immediately impressed by the vibrant team spirit and collaborative atmosphere I encountered during the interview process. The opportunity to work in a fast-paced, distinctive company like TJB, with its ambitious growth plans and exciting prospects, deeply appealed to me. The company’s renowned, curated service offering resonated with my professional values and the kind of organization I admire. Having had the privilege of working within both large organizations and smaller independent businesses, I was particularly drawn to the dynamic and agile nature of TJB. I’m excited by the chance to contribute to—and be a part of—its ongoing success.

My favourite destination

One of my favorite destinations is Deià in Majorca. I was particularly taken with Ca’s Patró March, a restaurant perfectly situated overlooking the bay. The seafood there is fantastic, making it a truly memorable spot. I was also fortunate enough to spend three days sailing in the Whitsunday Islands during my gap year, and although it was quite some time ago, the experience was incredible. It’s a place I would love to revisit someday with my children.
