Overview and Highlights

DIRT POOR is a classic 118’ Trinity raised-pilothouse motor yacht, originally delivered in 1999 and continuously refit to preserve her pedigree and performance. With generous volume and timeless styling, she combines a warm, inviting interior with expansive exterior spaces suited to entertaining or private relaxation.

Stepping in from the aft deck, the open salon flows naturally to a formal dining area and forward to a large country-style galley with stainless appliances, granite countertops, and ample seating—a natural gathering point for family and guests.

Guest accommodations are on the lower deck for maximum comfort underway: a full-beam master suite aft, two queen VIP staterooms, and a twin with Pullman, all ensuite.  Crew accommodations: Up to six crew in three crew cabins forward in the bow, with two separate heads and showers.

Up top, the flybridge features a spacious lounge, Jacuzzi, full-service wet bar, and a new propane barbecue, plus a large boat deck for toys and tender storage. Aft, the cockpit offers alfresco dining around a varnished teak table, with dual stairways down to the swim platform for easy water access.

With continuous upgrades through 2024–2025, DIRT POOR has been carefully maintained and modernized—interior updates and machinery work—so she’s ready for her next adventures.

Construction

DIRT POOR was built by Trinity Yachts with a robust aluminum hull and superstructure, paired with teak and non-skid decks for both elegance and practicality. She is a raised pilothouse, semi-displacement motor yacht — a design that blends efficiency, seaworthiness, and comfort at sea.

Accommodations

Accessed from the starboard foyer with impressive headroom, DIRT POOR’s accommodations are located on the lower deck, offering four spacious and beautifully appointed ensuite staterooms.

Aft is the full-beam master suite, designed as a private retreat with a king-size bed, oversized walk-in closet, sofa, and abundant drawer storage. The luxurious ensuite bath is arranged in a his-and-hers configuration with separate toilets, a spa-like Jacuzzi tub, and a generous shower. Large portholes flood the space with natural light, creating a serene atmosphere for relaxation.

Forward are two matching queen VIP staterooms to port and starboard, each with generous storage and ensuite baths. Amidships is a versatile twin stateroom with an additional Pullman berth, comfortably accommodating family or guests.

All staterooms are equipped with entertainment systems, including televisions and satellite TV, ensuring guests enjoy both comfort and convenience during their time aboard.

Machinery

DIRT POOR is powered by twin Caterpillar 3412C diesels, each rated at 1,350 hp. As of September 2025, both engines report approximately 8,020 hours, with the port engine receiving a complete rebuild in 2024. Trinity’s use of the 3412C series underscores their reputation for durability, worldwide service support, and long lifecycle reliability. With consistent service, DIRT POOR’s power package remains a proven platform for safe, extended cruising.

Supporting systems have been well cared for and upgraded as needed, including generator rebuilds, air-conditioning replacement, and shore power conversion. Her machinery spaces reflect the continuous maintenance program that has kept the yacht in strong operational condition.

• 3 x soft-start compressors, 5 tons each (60,000 BTU)
