POSITION OVERVIEW

TJB Super Yachts is seeking to recruit an energetic and target driven sales professional to join its talented and successful team. To support its planned expansion within the US, TJB Super Yachts needs an experienced Broker to sell and book charters direct to HNW’s. You will have a demonstrable track record of selling, negotiating and closing large deals ideally within the luxury yachting sector. Acting as a brand ambassador for TJB Super Yachts, you are a natural relationship builder, customer centric; always going over and above for every client request and have a passion for yachts with either technical knowledge or intimate knowledge of key yachting destinations.  

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Achieve/exceed monthly targets. Position TJB Super Yachts for continued success through a thoughtful sales business plan/strategy. 
  • Client research and profiling. 
  • Respond quickly, knowledgably and professionally to inbound inquiries for yacht charters and sales. 
  • Maintain, develop and grow established client base expand conversion rate for bookings in order to grow the business, proactively identify and prospect new potential clients then contact them by outreach or email to generate solid leads. 
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, providing personalized service and support. 
  • Compile bespoke travel itineraries. 
  • Liaise with partners/suppliers/yacht crew to facilitate booking and logistic management. 
  • Maintain reports and update database accurately and with integrity. 
  • Attend weekly sales meetings. 
  • Attend trade events, familiarization yacht trips or meet clients face to face when needed. 
  • Relationship building with yacht captains and central agents. 
  • Account management of client from industry standard contract execution and legal compliance to post charter follow up. 

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES

  • Highly self-motivated and driven. 
  • English fluency is essential – an additional language would be desirable (French, Russian, Spanish preferred). 
  • Exceptional and confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.  
  • Conscientious and passionate about delivering the best service and client experience. 
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to engage in pursuing and developing new business.  
  • Entrepreneurial mindset driven to build a strong client base – a relationship builder through and through. 
  • Proven experience operating in the ultra-high net worth space and deep understanding how to sell from a value vs. price disposition. 
  • Strong negotiation skills and a sound sales technique. 
  • Exceptionally organized and efficient, able to manage calendar effectively . 
  • Outstanding attention to detail in all areas. 
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks. 
  • Collaborate with/and support Marketing strategies to ensure that communications are targeted and aligned. Utilize digital marketing tools and social media to maximize exposure.
