With the summer drawing to a close, there is still much to look forward to in the European Superyacht Events calendar. We thought that we would share with you a variety of our top picks to help you in your planning for the end of the season. Here are some highlights of upcoming European Superyacht Events.
MYBA Pop-up Superyacht Show
8th – 10th September 2017
Montenegro plays host for the 3rd year to the MYBA Pop-up Superyacht Show, a three-day industry only event, open to international brokers and agents. Montenegro has recently become a new hotspot for superyachts in the Mediterranean and this event provides an opportunity to discover the developing infrastructure and beautiful cruising grounds that Montenegro has to offer as well as its increasing fleet of high-end superyachts. A fantastic event in a stunning location, this is one to add to your calendar.
Cannes Yachting Festival 2017
12th – 17th September 2017
The Cannes Yachting Festival is Europe’s leading in-water boating event and this year is set to celebrate its 40th anniversary with what promises to be a fantastic six-day event. You can expect the premieres of brand new superyachts as well as many informative seminars to attend, you will be given a fantastic opportunity to experience sea trials if you are a prospective buyer. This prestigious event has become one not to be missed.
Southampton International Boat Show
15th – 24th September 2017
This popular event is in its 49th year now, and continues to be a highlight of the nautical calendar for many, with its fantastic reputation and its loyal and affluent audiences. Whilst this event is not specifically focused on superyachts, there is still much to entertain those with a love of being on the water. There is also a Premium experience on offer, with the Global Challenge Sailing Experience, that will be offering visitors a thrilling adventure sailing onboard a 72ft Ocean Race Yacht, as part of a crew of 12. There is also a VIP Platinum Experience including a cruise on a luxury motor yacht.
