Q&A
TJB is a young and dynamic company that has positioned itself within the industry with a focused and determined approach to delivering the best possible experiences to its clients and offering exceptional value. All made possible by a clearly communicated vision and ethos of personalising every experience, always going those extra nautical miles.
To experience some of the world’s most amazing destinations onboard luxury motor yachts and sailboats is for many a chance to recharge from an otherwise incredibly fast paced life. To be part of the team that makes such experiences possible is as much a privilege as it is a passion.
We can guide you through the entire process of shortlisting yachts to charter, to creating bespoke itineraries to further make your already remarkable experience, truly remarkable. Doing all of this under the banner of TJB with a team of likeminded individuals is probably the best part of the job. Ultimately, it all comes down to trust and relationship building, both within the team but above all with our clients.
Having followed the rapid and successful growth of TJB over the years, with its clear vision of becoming a leading boutique firm, to its current position in the industry, I am extremely proud to now be the newest addition to the TJB team. I am equally proud to represent TJB on the Scandinavian market.
A professional and service minded crew plays an enormously important part in making your charter an extraordinary experience. Combining that with the yacht of your dreams and a bespoke itinerary and you are in for an amazing adventure.
With so many amazing places to visit around the globe it is a difficult question to answer. Still, the Mediterranean has a special place in my heart combining beautiful scenery, amazing food and so many wonderful adventures to be had. Having to pick one destination I would be torn between the Amalfi Coast and Sardinia.
Although not a super yacht, the timeless elegance and sophistication of the classic Riva Aquarama is very attractive to me. Its tradition of uncompromised style is carried on to its modern, yet still classic, successors. The destination as well as the journey become separate and intertwined adventures. As a manufacturer Riva has managed to maintain its heritage whilst at the same time embracing new technology and design.
I am quite easy that way, a beautiful sundeck to socialise on be it in the swimming pool or around a table with good company.
Finding your dream yacht can be very time consuming, a broker can help you navigate the market and short list those yachts that really meets your needs and expectations as well as negotiating on your behalf when it comes to a purchase. Depending on your previous experience of yachting, chartering something similar is often a good idea.
As a teenager I was a Jester in a medieval tournament group, I was told I had a promising career ahead, I could have made Chief Jester within a year. Well until I was overridden by 600kg of horse!
