There is an understanding of what is required to create a memorable charter, and our motivated and dedicated team is fuelled with passion and knowledge.
Every charter is different, each client will have a 100% custom experience, unique to them. I enjoy being able to play a part in creating memorable holidays and experiences that my clients will remember.
The chance to visit off-the-beaten-path places and having the opportunity to assist create these experiences for my clients is one of the most exciting aspects of working as a yacht broker.
Contributing, sharing knowledge, and playing a part in an upbeat, and dedicated team, whose sole focus is on creating memorable charters for clients. For me, it’s the overall ability to be part of such a forward-thinking team in a cutting-edge industry.
The three important parts to a successful charter, in my opinion, are the location, who will join you, and communication.
Choosing where to cruise, whether you are after secluded bays, island hopping, or visit busy towns and ports with nightlife and boasting activities, is crucial in ensuring your needs are met. Secondly, your guests: holidays are about making memories and having fun, in my eyes, so, who will be onboard is key. Lastly, communication is everything. The more information you can provide about your preferences, however small, the more of a bespoke experience your broker and crew can create for you and your guests.
I don’t think I could choose just one! I absolutely love the charm of the Croatian coastline; I’ve sailed there a lot. I have recently fallen back in love with the Ionian and Saronic Gulf in Greece. I also love the Caribbean for its white sandy beaches, turquoise water, and winter sun: you really can’t beat it.
I don’t have a firm favorite. Innovation wise, I absolutely love what Sunreef Yachts have done with their new design of catamarans.
I believe every great yacht needs to come with a great tender. In order to be able to explore all those hard-to-reach deserted coves in comfort or enjoy water-sports and have as much fun as possible.
Charter, Charter, Charter. Try out as many types of yachts as you can, as you will only discover what you really like and need by spending time onboard. It’s so important to work out what suits you and what doesn’t. The only real way to do this is to spend time onboard, experiencing the yacht for yourself.
I used to compete at waterskiing. In my spare time, I can be found at the waterski lake practicing slalom.
