Job Summary

The Marketing Executive plays a key role in not just the marketing team but within the business, contributing to the development and implementation of the TJB Super Yachts (TJB SY) marketing and brand growth strategies.

The role will focus on growing the TJB brand exposure within the super yacht and luxury travel industries, as well as amongst our target customer demographic. The Marketing Executive will work alongside their marketing team colleagues to maintain all TJB SY marketing assets and deliver effective and impactful marketing campaigns.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and possess exceptional copywriting skills, with other content creation skills a definite advantage. To thrive in the role, you will need to be adept to working in a fast-paced environment as well as being a self-learner and problem solver. Exceptional organisation skills aren’t just preferable, but essential!

Reporting To

A global role, reporting into our Head Of Marketing and working closely with both our Super Yachts and Private Travel key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• An articulate and competent writer, you will be responsible for writing copy across a wide range of marketing communications including both long form and shorter space constrained formats. This will include but not limited to our website (see below), yacht brochures, press releases, social media and more.
• Central to this role is the responsibility for maintaining, updating and expanding the content of the TJB SY website as well as TJB Managed Collection yacht microsites. You will need to ensure that content is always up to date and accurate, visually engaging and that all site copy is well written and appropriately optimised for both search engines and visitors.
• Working alongside the other Marketing executives, you will share responsibility for managing the company’s email marketing. From idea generation and calendar planning through to sending and monitoring performance, you will help develop the strategy for this key marketing channel.
• Working with the Head of Marketing, Social Media Manager and wider Marketing Team you will help create and curate content for all TJB SY social media channels, as well as support TJB Managed Collection social media channels. You will help manage the social content calendar as well as share responsibility for monitoring our social media community spaces, engaging with our followers and responding to questions asked, as well as sharing social media enquiries.
• You will help co-ordinate the TJB SY’s brand presence at various yacht shows throughout the year, which will include showcasing TJB Managed Collection yachts being featured at the shows, putting together schedules/itineraries (including yacht viewings) and organising events, as well as identifying marketing opportunities and content requirements.
• Along with the rest of the Marketing Team you will be responsible for maintaining all Company brand assets and collateral to ensure it is always kept up-to-date, relevant and fresh.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent marketing qualification
• Have a minimum 3 years’ experience in a marketing, copywriting or content focussed role
• Possess excellent copy writing skills, a strong attention to detail and creative flair
• CMS & ESP experience (Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience an advantage)
• Visual content creation skills essential
• Be able to demonstrate sound organisation skills and flexibility, and a capability to manage multiple work streams
• A confident communicator with excellent writing skills

Desirable:

• Experience in yachting, high end/experiential travel or other luxury businesses
