From Spain it’s off to Greece for the Mediterranean Yacht Show, which is back bigger and better than ever ready for its sixth year of showcasing some of the region’s finest charter superyachts. This industry-only event marks the start of the cruising season, and an exclusive line-up of charter yachts will be in attendance before they set off.
Held in the Nafplion Harbour, and organized by the Greek Yachting Association (GYA), the show brings together superyacht owners and representatives, captains and crews, and charter professionals for five days of events, socials and networking. Add to that the big attendance of yacht-related services, as well as a packed itinerary of seminars and presentations – everything from crew wear, to food and wine pairings – and it’s easy to see why this is one of the Eastern Mediterranean’s premier yachting events.
A record number of attending yachts will be lining up this year, and TJB Superyachts team will be there in force appraising a mixture of motor yachts, sailing yachts, catamarans and luxury gulets. To arrange a time for us to come and inspect your yacht and meet your crew, please do get in touch.
One event not to be missed is the highly anticipated Chef’s Competition. Greece’s culinary masters, supported by their service crews, will be showing off their impeccable culinary skills in front of a panel of judges. It’s an impressive live event which showcases the talents not just of the chefs but the stewards and stewardesses. This year’s theme, based on gourmet ‘street food’, is sure to be one to remember.
