TJB Super Yachts celebrates groundbreaking season ahead of the yacht shows
2022 has already been a breakthrough season for TJB Super Yachts. This year we have confirmed more than 345 yacht charters and our sales department has seen remarkable developments and success. As a well-established superyacht company with a highly accomplished charter department, TJB Super Yachts opened its new dedicated sales division in 2021, with Jamie Swaine leading the team. A year on, Jamie explains what is behind TJB’s success and why he and our CEO, Tim Johnson and yacht brokers, Josh Francis, Advait Deodhar and George Brotherton, are excited to attend the Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Yacht Show in September.

Since January 2022, there has been an excellent stream of exciting new yacht listings and successful sales. To date, 537 yachts have transacted since the start of the year – 209 of those since June alone. The TJB sales team have been travelling all over Europe for our clients to ensure our bespoke service is always personalised and based on the highest level of expertise.
We aim to attend every yacht show we can. The year started with the Palma International Boat Show, and it was clear how enthusiastic everyone felt for the 2022 yachting season ahead. The mood was rightly optimistic, with New Build Orders making global headlines and more brokerage boats sold than ever. This increase in New Build Orders demonstrates that the superyacht industry and the demand for a lifestyle that comes with owning a superyacht are steadily on the rise with no sign of slowing down.

Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Yacht Show are on the horizon, and the line-up of yachts to view is one of the best we have seen. TJB Super Yachts will have an excellent team gathering in Monaco and Cannes, and we will be ready to provide invaluable insight and advice if you are attending either or both shows.
With an excellent variety of brokerage and new build yachts on display at the Monaco Yacht Show and Cannes Yachting Festival this year, we have an opportunity to advise you with yacht inspections in person. At the start of 2022, there were 604 superyachts in the construction book, a fifth more than the year before – an impressive increase. The number of yachts actively in-build increased from 104 units to 558. Through our carefully crafted relationships with the industry’s best shipyards, we can advise on new build projects, and our team are always happy to arrange appointments with shipyard representatives. We also have a network of trusted project managers to blend into the purchasing team and guide you through the yacht design process.
